Connecting BestSMS with Zapier

Overview

BestSMS seamlessly integrates with Zapier, enabling you to send and receive SMS messages as part of your automated workflows.

How to Connect BestSMS to Zapier


Step 1: Log into Your BestSMS Dashboard

  1. Go to BestSMS Login.

  2. If you don’t have an account, register here.

Step 2: Enable Zapier Integration in BestSMS

  1. Navigate to Service Settings.

  2. Select Integrations.

  3. Choose Zapier and connect your Zapier account.

  4. Ensure your BestSMS login matches your Zapier login.

Step 3: Log into Zapier with Your BestSMS Account

  1. In Zapier, go to Apps > Other Apps.

  2. Search for BestSMS and click Add Connection.

  3. In BestSMS, navigate to Users > Click your User Email Address.

  4. If API access is not enabled:

    • Click Edit/Modify.

    • Enable API Access.

    • Click Enable next to Auth Token.

    • Click Create Auth Token and confirm.

    • Copy your new Auth Token by click [Copy] icon

    • Click Update to save changes.

  5. Note down your Auth Token.

  6. Back in Zapier, enter the AuthToken field to complete the connection.


Using BestSMS in Zapier

Step 4: Send SMS via Zapier Action

  1. Open Zapier and create or edit a Zap.

  2. Add a Trigger, such as receiving an email.

  3. Set BestSMS as the Action and choose Send SMS.

  4. Configure the SMS details and save your Zap.

  5. Test your Zap to ensure it functions correctly.

Step 5: Use SMS Received as a Zapier Trigger (Optional)

  1. Open Zapier and create or edit a Zap.

  2. Set BestSMS as the Trigger and select SMS Received.

  3. Add an Action, such as adding the SMS details to a spreadsheet.

  4. Save and test your Zap.

Step 6: Monitor Messages in the BestSMS Dashboard

  • To review messages sent through Zapier:

    1. Open the BestSMS Dashboard.

    2. Navigate to Reports > Sent.

This ensures you can track and manage your SMS activity efficiently.
