How to Use

Single Target
Send a text message as easily as an email, to a single mobile phone. In the 'To' field, enter:
[Mobile Number]@bestsms.au
  1. Make sure your email address is registered from our web dashboard
  2. Use the recipient email address as [Mobile Number]@bestsms.au (e.g., [email protected])
  3. In the subject line, use a reference that's meaningful to you.
  4. Compose your message in the email body.
  5. Send email
Once you've sent your email, your email will be converted to a SMS message and delivered to handset. We'll let you know if the message has been errored.
You can optionally opt-in for full message reports including status updates and delivery results.
Sending SMS to a group of recipients works the same way. Address your email to:

  1. Make sure your email address is registered from our web dashboard
  2. Use the recipient email address as [email protected]
  3. In the subject line, use a reference that's meaningful to you.
  4. Compose your SMS message in the email body
  5. Attach a 'Comma Separated' file (CSV) containing the mobile numbers you want to reach.
  6. Your CSV file should begin with 'Mobile' on the first line, followed by the mobile numbers on subsequent lines.
    For example:

Once you've sent your email, you'll receive a confirmation email within minutes, notifying you that the SMS message has been successfully sent.
To send SMS messages to a group of recipients in your Addressbook, address your email to:
Group.[Group_Code]@bestsms.au

  2. Make sure you have data for group and recipients in the BestSMS Web Addressbook
  3. Use the recipient email address as [email protected]
  4. In the subject line, use a reference that's meaningful to you.
  5. Compose your SMS message in the email body
  6. Send email

With our SMS Merge feature, you can craft personalised SMS messages for each recipient. Provide a list of your contacts with unique details, and our system merges them into your messages automatically. Address your email to:

  3. In the subject line, use a reference that's meaningful to you.
  4. Compose your SMS message in the email body including our merge commands:

    Reply STOP to Opt out.
  5. Attach a 'Comma Separated' file (CSV) containing the mobile numbers you want to reach.
  6. Your CSV file should begin with list headers like 'Mobile,FirstName,Custom1' on the first line, followed by the mobile numbers on subsequent lines.
